Hi! My name is Charly and my biggest loves in life are video production and gaming.
Growing up I spent most of my time in-front of the TV or computer. I watched a lot of old shows, movies, and played a lot of games. Throughout high school I was shooting my own short films for fun, and during my IT classes I made my very first computer game, 'Wizard's Quest'.
When I was 18 I started a course in Film at Oxford Brookes University, where I graduated in 2017 with a 2:1. After graduating, I moved back home and undertook a variety of freelance work, mainly creating music videos for local bands and photographing live music events.
In 2021 I completed a PGCert in Audio Visual Postproduction at Queens University, which focused on editing and audio post-production. That same year I was given the opportunity by Northern Ireland Screen to take part in the Restart Trainee programme, which has helped me to develop skills in a variety of different areas of game production, from QA to sound design. Most recently, I have worked as a cinematic artist and video editor for prominent indie studio Italic Pig, working on their upcoming release of Paleo Pines.
